No no hope your Z is ok :p

That's what put me off fitting a carbon front lip splitter mate. Hope it hasn't damaged the new bumper too much. I haven't completed fitting my rear parking sensors yet but I'm seriously considering a couple on the front too.

Tony.

Bloody hell mate. I did the same in my saab. No damage to the front so never looked underneath!

Bad luck Sean, at least the damage can't be seen;)

After I rebuilt my first 2.2 last summer it went for an MOT. It flew through but 200 yards into my life with it I thought I'd ripped the underside off on a large speed bump. I think the reality was it hit the chassis brace. I'm ridiculously careful over speed bumps now and usually have a queue of traffic behind me. The lower ride height of a 2.2 definitely notices against my brother's pre-facelift 1.9.

Gutted for you mate after all that hard work, but as said, luckily nothing to sadden the eyes.......just don't look.underneath.

Steve

Ouch - I try and reverse in when parking edge on to kerbs at the shops and elsewhere nowadays. If it has to be front in - park level with the rear doors of the car next to you. That usually leaves plenty go space. Saves having to guess where exactly the kerb is.

Bad luck Sean, that's the reason I don't lower mine, I have a job getting in and out of my driveway without touching the front on the ground.
