Write Up London to Brighton

Looks like you had a good time like us on the Welsh Cruise. Great pics and some classic cars

Some pics of the other interesting cars, there were so many including a red CSL that I couldn't snap:

There were at least 20 x V8 engined Cobra reps in attendance, what a sound!

Some great photos guys! I have a few that I will try to put up in the next day or two. I have a couple of the red CSL for you Dino! Also, if you look in the entry list it apparently used to be owned by the singer from 10cc

Love the yellow and white Zodiac. Awesome.

Tony.

Showing your age now Tony! Didn't have a scooby what that was, pleased you answered my question! :D
Hah Hah, lying toad.=)) Bet you don't know what a PA Cresta looks like either.;)

Tony.

ps. Still feeling well mate?

Haven't a clue what a cresta is Tony? Feeling good mate thanks. Been up the hospital for my pre-op this morning. Main op being done next Wednesday.
Tar for asking!

Good news mate, I'll try to find a picture of o Cresta for you then. Very fifties American styling.

Gorgeous cars Dave, I've liked these since I was a nipper, two of my uncles had them and one of them had two PB Cresta's as well. I won't mention another uncles Vauxhall Wyvern though. Grandad had Humber Hawks. Jeez, I really am old.=))

Tony.

That front grill is like a 56 Chevy just in miniature. I love when you put pics of these old Brit cars in posts as I've not seen most as they were never imported. Getting old but a great memory Bro. JIM

I will find you some more for later then Jimbob. :)

Even the paint colours fit 55-57 Chev's . I'm thinking of two toning TOO black with that shade of yellow, similar to what David has but with actual corvette style chrome trim and possibly making the insert concave. Have to take the door cards off to see how much room there is between the glass and door skin. I have a 57 chev in those colours and have always loved that combo. Bring on those pics, I'll be waiting!! JIM

I hope you like your rear brace Dino.

Thanks for bringing it down. I'll hopefully fit it this weekend, it was a busy day and not much time in the end!
By the time we finished on the pier it was past 5 and my Z was the last one left amongst some cobra reps and a few caterham type cars.

Thanks to David for offering his garage to fit it but after the rides on the pier I just wanted to get the 2hr drive back home done!

Was great to see the Bertini up close, looks great.

Also great to see David's red and white Z up close, had real presence on the road and looks very cool and original, love it!

That will be great, we saw it leaving Greenwhich, superb looking car, I've never seen a red
Get those pics up before these guys start posting any more pics of old Vauxhalls!

Hi All

We arrived back late yesterday so a bit slow getting our piccies up on the forum. Anyway here they are - "Rosie" ready for the off...at the Hotel

"Rosie" finds her twin "Mrs Jones" piloted by Luke:

Squadron "Zed 2" taxi onto the runway at Greenwich:

This brought some pressure to say the least on my wife Stephanie who was navigating as "Rosie" was up front of this group!!!

We arrive at the midpoint:

Then off we go again on to Brighton...

We made it with a big thanks to Stephanie for an excellent job of navigating...here are some more pics from Brighton:

@David, I really like the whole look of your car mate, the only addition I would suggest is to colour code your door handles, I think that would complete the transformation. Great work!!

Tony.
