Hi, Rob what hotel have you booked into? I was worried about parking as well:nailbiting:

Bazza
Sorry Bazza just read the question. I have been booked into the hotels listed by the event host GE Classic. They offered secured parking. Rob

Do we know how many Z's there are booked already?
Quite possible I'll do this with my 6yr old son.

Sorry I've waded through the previous postings and cannot see an answer to my stupid question :-
Does the £89.00 cover the Vehicle Exhibitor Booking Form (£10.00) or is this an additional charge?

I'm sure Duncan will be along to answer this one but pretty sure we have paid £89 so looks like the fee you mentioned is included
as we have booked up early I think we get a special rate:) if you go to forthcoming events in the forum and click on the first LtoB run
you will get all the info you need.

Just contacted GE Classic who advised that the £10 Vehicle Exhibitor Fee is for those who are not part of the London to Brighton run......no need to pay the additional £10

I knew somebody would have the info well done:thumbsup:

Hi All,
Do we have consensus on what time the 'late start' will be?
Planning to come up from Canterbury in the morning.
Probably best getting there early but it'll be a long day for my son as we'll head back home after Brighton.
Anyone know what the traffic is like to get in to Greenwhich starting point during the morning?

I would rather get there early as you can imagine with all the LtoB cars it could get a bit busy, usually the traffic in the morning around there's not to bad so like you I will be guessing.=)) as for late start time iv'e no idea maybe we will get some feed back from Duncan:whistle:

Wild guess would be a late start around 10am.
Traffic on a Sunday morning shouldn't be too bad I would have thought...

Thanks for that, will await more news re start closer to the time.

Re the traffic I mean actually getting in to the start given it's 500+ cars + spectators etc?

Not familiar with how the traffic flows around there on an event.

So we've registered and paid earlier this week, not heard back from the organizers with my number yet but will chase on Monday.
Late start box checked and caps ordered!

Ps does anybody have another email address apart from the info@classicmotorevents.co.uk

I might be going on the London to Brighton run with the Bertini. On the kit/sports day. Not sure which one that is. It's a good day out. I did it last year. Expensive (mainly coz of the fuel). But a lot of fun!
Like I tell my old girl. It's only money honey!! JIM

@ Anthony Cherry
I think we (sports and kits) are on one day as already at 558 entries. That seems a lot if only sports?

Looking forward to seeing your Bertini in the flesh.
O/T: And hounding you Anthony make lovely sculpted sills that will work on the Bertini and a regular Z.
We all have rusty sills and aftermarket options are so limited....I see you still using the standard sills on the Bertini, I'm sure your Bertini customers will need new sills too as most Z's have rot there...the OEM part is overpriced and not that great for a car with the curves of a Z. The aero part is nice but a bit too angular in my view...I'm sure you could up with something better Anthony!

Just received confirmation for the Brighton run,
Provisional number 557 so lots of cars already.
Getting giddy :)

Just got my provisional number 553 today............does not appear to be any numerical sequence by date o_O

Just had this bit of info from Stephen at Classic motor events in reply to my question regarding if we need to complete the 'Vehicle Exhibitor Form' and arriving at Greenwhich in the morning,

Thought it'll be useful for others:

'The vehicle exhibitor booking form is not required.

Regarding timings on the day the park open from 7.30 am and the traffic is fairly light on Sundays around the park. We ask you to check in no later than 45 minutes of your start time which will be around 10.00am along with the Z roadster group.

We aim to keep queuing to a minimum on the day but if you are planning to arrive early to see some of the cars leaving the park you should have no problems and the café’s in the park are open for breakfasts.'

555 here...guess I should be rocking up in an Impreza :meh:
