Locking issues

Just got home and my key fob has stopped working.
I have changed the battery in the key and it has made no difference.
The problem is, I also have the dreaded spinning key lock on the door so I cannot lock the car.
Any ideas??

This may sound crazy - I had a problem with one of my doors not locking on the key fob. I got into the car - put the key in the ignition - switched the car on - wound the windows down and back up (a complete cycle) - got out and locked the car on the fob with no problem - strange! Can’t guarantee this procedure will work for you though. Hope you get it sorted!

Have Zed's got BCM's on them? They can be horrible beggars of things with locks and flashers.

Do all the locks spin ?
You should be able to lock it from any of the locks

Don’t believe it .... I put the windows down as suggested and it worked!!

Now what!! Got to work and the hood won’t go up!
Had to use manual override, which is not the end of the world, but what is going on?
Good news is that the car locked normally.

Hello - I would check if your brake lights are working when you press the brake pedal, the brake pedal switch also operates the roof, pretty common.
