Right. So the 2.8 is in temporary hibernation. But that's given me an idea to do all the things I've been meaning to. Engine clean/wash, polish, wax/leather conditioner etc all on the list.

What other little jobs should I add to the list now I have plenty of time?

That really depends on how far you want to go and whats been done?

1. Thermostat
2. Belts and pulleys
3. Water pump
4. Coolant flush and renew
5. Brake fluid change
6. Take the sill covers off and clean / protect the main sills
7. Clean and protect the hood
8. Polish out any scratches/ marks on the rear window
9. Renew the seat bushes, (easy job)
10. Clean underneath and protect (waxoyl or the such)

5,6,7,8,10 are straight forward

;);):thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I like all of those (including number 11).
Sills is a standout one, as are seat bushes (which I have new ones ready).

6. gearbox and differential oil change.

Clean water drains in.....
1. Rear just behind the door.
4. on fuel filler compartment
2. Drain under front scuttle panels below wiper blades
3. blow out drains on top of door pillar.

12. replace antenna grommet if yukky
7. replace door handle gaskets if perished.
8. polybush front lollipop bushes if worn.
11. paint brake calipers...
