I’ve seen that on some threads that people are mentioned. Eg @hardtop . But these links are in blue, which I assume advises the person that they have been mentioned.

How do you get the name link to be in blue??? When I have typed @whoever, it stays black!
I’m sure this question will make me look like a right plonker but I don’t do Faceache or any other social media so have no idea how these sites work.
To be honest I keep having to edit posts on this forum as I often hit the wrong buttons :)

Thinking about it, I’m probably not the only one who doesn’t know about this stuff, but age gives me a get out clause =))

Me too mate! If you hit the @ and leave a space it won't tag the member, you have to do @Mazza . You should get a prompt as you type the members name too, just click on the ene of the name and it will type it in for you. I hope that makes sense.

@Mazza When you type in a name that name will come up on your screen, just tap it and @hard top's your uncle :arghh:
 
If you put an @ symbol then start typing the name (don't press space unless it's in their name), it should give you a potential list of members in a drop down for you to click on. As you type more characters it refines the search further. If you know the exact name then you can type it in full and it will link as soon as you press the space bar. In your example above there was no space in Hard Top's name, so it wouldn't link it!

For example, @har will list
