Event Lincolnshire wolds 30th July

Paul just to make you aware, A18 is closed for resurfacing work - chip dressing basically. Not that you are going on it - but it will put more traffic on the B1225 from Caistor which I'm guessing you'll be using ? great road btw when clear.

As Sean says, some good roads around that area, weather not looking the best though

Sunday forecast to date: Morning sunshine possible showers later in the afternoon, after the last 3 weekends we are due a good un.

Off out tomorrow to do the full route ready for Sunday. Just to be sure no supprises. hopefully for a great run through the Lincolnshire Wolds
Everyone welcome should be a good day

Wish I could make it but we are off elsewhere this weekend. I drive through the Wolds quite often from Norfolk to Hull for work. Took the Z3 a few times and its a lot more fun.

Very enjoyable day, very welcoming, seen parts of Lincolnshire I never seen before. Nice to meet people with same interests.
Look forward to the next one. 👍
Great to have you both on board, glad you enjoyed the day

Well done Paul and congratulations on hosting a brilliant event - the weather was fine and the roads were great. Look forward to the next one and thanks for all your efforts in organising - thought Jubilee Park was great and never been there before but will certainly be returning

Yes, good to meet new people and a well organized day out. Always good to start with a breakfast! After a downpour on the way up to the meet point it was sun all day, so very lucky. Agree there Garry, the park at Woodhall Spa was a very pleasant stop.👍 Thanks for organizing the trip @Paul Rice.

Very nice AC wheels on the @RickyBobby M44 , really suit the car. I can't understand why so many people stick the biggest wheels they can find on their cars. They don't always look better or do anything for performance.

I was looking at those too Ken, nice high profile tyres, bet @RickyBobby has a plusher ride than I get on my runflats . . .

You can't beat an aspect ratio of 60 - I've been down at 35 before and have the collapsed vertebrae to prove it =))

Joking aside though, like you say Ken, I think the 15 inch wheels really suite the M44. I had intended to replace them with a set of the original pepperpot wheels but I do like the ACS Type II's and assume they were fitted as standard as the car also has the short shift gear mechanism which is great. The only mod I've added is the matching handbrake handle which I managed to source from the Z4 Forum.

My previous 3.0i Z3 had 18 ACS Type III Racing wheels but I think they just look to big for the Z3 - I've also had 19 inch wheels on a couple of the E89's but you drive in fear of the next pothole :bashhead:

The pepperpot wheels look great on the M44 complimenting the retro design, but many owners replaced them with bigger wheels. :(
