I agree about the Z3's poor headlights. My old MGB has Cibie units containing standard H4 bulbs and they are far, far better than the lights on the Z3. They are bright with a well controlled beam pattern, whereas the Zed's lights look yellow and the beam scatters all over the place. They certainly aren't good enough for a car capable of high speeds.

Has anyone used LED bulbs in the Z3 lamps, and if so what brand and how good are they?

Not seen any LED bulbs that give correct pattern yet.

Yep tried LED headlights bulbs and they were useless, save your money and buy decent halogens IMHO.

'Its now us doing the same 40 years on.

I never remember these being a problem at 20 years old, .....

Nissan Qashqai5 is the biggest culprit of blinding headlights for me. I can spot one a mile off, ultra bright, badly aimed and with a hint of purple green and blue.
Blind me when they are behind me! Doesn' help having a lowered zed.

When I get cars like this behind me they light up the road in front of me and I can see the shadow of my car directly in front of me, Thats how bad my lights are.
