If you must have an Audi, you could have made it an R8.

Is it just me or.... Is one of thes slightly more masculine than the other?
I've seen bigger VIN stickers than that number plate

40 miles in, it's really fun to drive. Not tail wagging drifty Zed style fun, but it grips incredibly well and the extra diesel torques is impressive. Despite only being 30ish more HP than the A3, if feels so much more rapid... Pootling back across the A339 in traffic at 50 (sigh) it was showing 70mpg on the computer, which dropped down to 52 once I got on the back roads :D

I'll keep updating this thread with my thoughts, both for those that are interested and for those who are triggered by my current daily driving antics...

I was rather keen on it myself, but running 2 cars just isn't feasible right now and 70 mile daily commute in a petrol just not possible. Did it for a year when I first bought the Z4, and if I'd have carried on it would be on about 130k miles and rising by now. Also, I think the other things is that literally most of what I do is based around Zeds, it's limiting my experiences of other cars and I like all sorts of cars! Who knows, a few years down the line I may have time for a second car again. I said to the Audi sales guy that if BMW made a Z4 that would do 50+ mpg I wouldn't be talking to him.
