Leicester City

Two skilled pilots unable to kill the power before it was too late. Probably torn between keeping the power on because of the height of the failure with no forward motion or kill the engines and try and get back to the ground. About 1/2 second to make that decision. Rock and a hard place.
Either that or deliberately flown away from the stadium to the nearest open clear ground. If that was the case it was superb airmanship under maximum stress.

These chopper crews tend to be at the top of their game mate, I'd suggest maximum effort for open ground and hope for the best whilst working through the issue knowing full well that all was probably lost :(

Scary really. Like a fair few on here I drive on the road just a few feet from there regularly.

Yup. Brave people these pilots though mate. Many years ago a Tornado fell out of the sky from Honington, the pilot instructed the WSOP to eject and he then battled to guide the stricken kite away from a school, which he did and died. His wife was listening all the way, she was the duty Air Traffic Controller :(

Gonna be an emotional day tomorrow for the blue boys and supporters away at Cardiff then the whole squad fly out to Thailand, tough times at lcfc.
