ust thought i share these....

fitted tonight... real easy to fit and much better than stock, i bought 4 for £3.79 real nice crisp white light, not sure if they are polarity sensitive, i check the voltage and the + and - terminal with my meter and installed them the correct way, and they worked spot on...

kept them on for about 5 mins and didnt get even warm so seems they gonna be ok.. only time will tell...

I also have them and I replaced the interior and boot light with LED, much brighter :D
thats good to know... as i got 2 spare ones, i was going to use them for rear number plate lights, where else on the car has these...?

ahhh right.... i wont bother taking them apart then.. normally boot and interior are festoon bulbs...wonder what the rear number plate light bulbs are..

I have mine inside the headlights.. not the posher side markers...

Grrrr... but they are still loads brighterer

just tried one in the house and they pulling 140ma at 12.5v so thats 1.6watts... have had them on for about ten minutes in the living room and they are getting quite warm, I can still hold them, but dont know how hot the original filament bulbs got....

If you had had the original incandescent bulbs on for that amount of time they would burn the skin from your fingers, guaranteed. I fitted festoon led's in my Z3 boot and interior lights. They are polarity sensitive, but that's no issue.

hehe... i have asbestos fingers... ahh well no worrys then.... yeah i going to have a look at the intreior light and boot light and order some of those too...

just not sure of the length of the bulbs to order yet...

got a few more things in the pipeline too.. keep you all posted in a few days time...
