Finally purchased a Z3 (via TaffDaddy, thanks), one of my first jobs will be to get my black/blue leather seats refurbished (typical worn leather look). I am quite happy to have a go myself but was wondering if anyone can recommend someone in the Birmingham area (don't mind going a little further)? Just looking to see real world cost of getting someone else to do the job. Appreciate any feedback you may have - thank you

Thank you Dave, completely forgot about Car SOS (I watch the programme too). Somehow I don't think I'll get them done at nil cost like Tim does (or so he leads you to believe)

I love Car SOS. And I love Tim and Fizz, Tim in particular. But all those 'blagging' scenarios are to my mind obviously set-up. However for the kudos of getting on TV I would imagine there are plenty of freebies.

If Bespoke Leathering is the one with the guy who can tell the grain of a 50 year old seat from 20 yards and match it from stock then that's priceless. I had a new base cover done by a guy in Swansea for £80 recently. Nice but the grain did not match, so that's a priority for me.

I re-dyed my seats and door cards myself. Really cheap if you do it yourself although a little time Consuming.

Car SOS is great harmless fun which is where WD started from but ended up in a very strange US-based mess, in my humble opinion of course. And as for what they did to Edd, no comment :rage:

Liquid Leather. Just Google it mate, really easy to do. There is a thread on it somewhere. I'll see if I can find it.

Lloyds BMW Blackpool put me in touch with a company called TrimTechnik who are based in Wilmslow Cheshire but will travel anywhere. They quoted me £800 to come to Blackpool and completely re upholster both seats and the door panels in whatever colour leather I chose. They will also design any colour style you wish and some of the pictures on their site are awesome.

Its just time and patience a few members use their scuff master products.
Its not expensive to do and its quite forgiving as a product my interior is pushing 2 years this christmas its robust enough at least for me

I can vouch for trim technique. Used to use them when i worked for merc. They used to do a lot of nappa replacement from mb lex.
This is my trim dyed in liquid leather.
