Leather repair/replacement

Pretty good price. Take it that doesn't include trimming?

Are they still messing around with the A1?

The A1 is pretty much done up there I think there's a busy road shut for 6 weeks so everyone has to go past that way.
They don't do any trimming there, they gave us the details of the place to go to if we want it fully finished. Same company but a different shop.

Bloke from furniture clinic rang me yesterday and I took the dash through (one at tanfield).
He is confident he can reglue the airbag cover and remove the creases. The instrument cluster surround he is less confident but is giving it a go. If not he says they can replace and match the finish exactly.
Should be a week or so till it's ready.

All done. Collected just now. They reglued the passenger side and the airbag cover.
Couldn't stretch the instrument cluster pod so they replaced and colour matched it. Down to the exact stitching.

The fella even gave me the bottle of leftover dye for me to use should I need to touch up any interior parts.

£120 All in. Not the worst price.

I believe it was 60-80 for the new leather section colour matched if you just needed that bit done

Revive an old thread, but I’m in need of my extended leather passenger air bag cover retriming and the pods looking at.
What company did you use? As it looks like they did a good job and I like to go on recommendation.

I recently used autotrim at Denton for leather repairs to my 7 series drivers seat. Father and son set up 50 years experience recommended by loads in the trade and did a fantastic job on mine. Other than that I know zilch about that stuff.
