With such a lot of water in the footwell you likely have a lot of condensation collecting on the inside of the roof making it look like the fabric is leaking.

I suppose it is possible that the fabric is leaking but please checkout the other likely causes.

Apart from checking the usual spots for leaks if you’re sure that it’s leaking through the actual fabric the barrier in the roof fabric has failed and needs a replacement. As an interim you could try fabisil tent reproofer or Revo or one of the other products but those products will only be a plaster. Maybe once treated it may last a while and use one of those roof covers when heavy rains are expected.

Condensation will not result in a swimming pool in the passenger foot well. There is an obvious leak, which will have to be discovered by the owner sitting in the passenger seat and a friendly passer-by squirting water onto the soft top with a conveniently-located hose.

It's not "coming through the fabric", it's a leak, through the various joints between window/glass/rubbers, etc.

I didn't say the condensation caused the puddle in the footwell.

I was suggesting that all the moisture on the underside of the roof fabric is condensation caused by the puddle. The puddle being caused by a bad leak elsewhere ie blocked drains etc.
