LB7 EGR Delete What’s the Best Approach?

Hello everyone.

I’m considering an EGR delete on my LB7 vehicle and would like some advice from others who have already completed one. I’m mainly interested in reliability, drivability, and whether there are any noticeable changes after removing the EGR system.

Are there specific parts or kits that are recommended, or is it better to source everything individually?

I’d also like to know if there are any common problems during installation or afterward.

For those who have done an LB7 EGR delete, how did the car behave afterward, and is there anything you wish you had known before starting the job?

As you're obviously not talking about the 6.6L LB7 Duramax diesel truck engine, what does "LB7" mean in your BMW Z context?
