Well, as the weather was good we arranged a run out with Steve & Sara (@Bozzy), and Ben & Barbara (@le frog). We arranged to meet at a tea room in Brailsford but when we got there it was closed, contrary to their website. Luckily there was another tea room 200 yards up the road. So, fed(me) and watered (all) we set off on a very hastily concocted route up through Wirksworth, across to Grangemill, Hartington, Longnor, to a great little picnic spot by Macclesfield Forest. After lunch and a brew we headed back via Allgreave, Warslow, to Hulme End for the compulsory ice cream. Then on to Alstonefield, Bradbourne and finishing at a tea room by Carsington Water. Wall to wall sunshine all day, great weather, great (quiet) roads and great company. What more could you want?

What an excellent day it was, didn't want it to end . Many thanks @Mint for putting together another fantastic route, thoroughly enjoyed it .
Some roads we haven't been on before, with some rather enjoyable roads to accomodate some "enthusiastic" driving :coolsteer):ymdevil:. We must do this one again some time :D.

@le frog has some decent pictures of the day .......Ben .

I take it your 'sur le continent' then Andy. All this lovely weather and Bella is miles away. I think I may have offered before but I'll be more than happy to give Bella a run out for you while your away....if you like...=))

Yup and I'm afraid I'll need to decline your kind offer :D

Funny you should say that @Gail but no
That's what happens when someone takes a photo without telling you
Surely that would never happen to you Pauline! :D
