Write Up Last Minute Cruise in the Peaks - 12th March

You'd have loved it today Sean,we had a good few foot down moments :ymdevil: :rally:.
And one on the brake pedal when a sheep dog tried to herd us. Stupid mutt:mad:

Oh yeh that was a little surprise,if Sara hadn't spotted it I'd have splattered it.
Saw you braking hard but didn't see the poochy till you dodged past it :wideyed:.
It has two less lives now.

Looks like you had a great day out, happy that the weather was nice for you all. It certainly felt a bit like spring today. Great pictures from all of you.

Tony.

Of course Dave, looks like sh-t to me but????
You avoided the farm then?

Great pics chaps! Will hopefully join you next time :) I left Bakewell around 4pm and it rained the whole way home!

You avoided the farm then?
Yes we did Brian, but if you join us on one of our trips I can make an exception and take you that way...... if you insist=))=))

We were at Carsington by then, managed to get home still with the top down...bit of drizzle nothing serious;)

We had no rain at all,but we did wuss out and had the roof up from Carsington to home as the sky did look rather threatening by then . Then a few miles from home, full sunshine .

Lucky you! I got a bit damp finding somewhere to pull over to put the roof up =))
Yes we've been caught out like that once or twice.
Not too bad if you don't have the tonneau cover on,but a real drama if you have .

Steve

Looks like a great day the weather turned out better than forecast here.
Great pics as always :thankyou:

Another great day out in the Peaks with superb weather and company. We met up with Mr & Mrs @Bozzy in Uttoxeter and after a leisurely coffee and chat headed off into the Peak District via Ilam, Warslow, Flash eventually finding our way to Longnor for lunch. After a welcome break we headed off towards Millers Dale and back down to Bakewell to finish at Carsington Water for our goodbyes. A few pics of the day:

Proper Zedders you are

Great photos chaps, pity we missed it. I was out that way on my bike and was surprised what a warm sunny day it was as the last forecast I saw on Saturday was rain most of the day.
