Lambda/O2 Sensor Locations on 2.8 Z3

You will struggle to get access to the front two from the top even from underneath access limited.
The rear two are not the most simple either as all on the top side of the pipework
If you haven't got any pictures by the weekend I'll send you some ( just won't be able to get my zed on a ramp before then )
Why are you needing to change all 4 lambda sensors as generally pretty reliable on the 2.8 engine.
Stephen.

Have you had the car plugged into a code reader to see if any faults your symptoms could come from a number of places and I've got to say for me lambda sensors wouldn't be top of that list .
Stephen.

Which engine is it. Twin or single vanos. Idle hunting when cols can be associated with vanos seals also. But best to sort out the codes.

Same as mine. Some of the more generic readers aren't as good. But the creator reader is very good.

My Z3 had air leaks that didn’t show up on a smoke test. They were right down the back of the engine and partially related to secondary air pump.
The shed sorted it out for me.
