Still plagued by them here, nowhere near as many as back in the warm bit, but plenty about. Having to queue to get into Pwllheli in November? What's that all about, then?
Crazy we were coming down from Ambleside and there was a very and I mean very slow que of traffic all the way to Windermere in November I dread to think what it’s like in summer :hungover:

:scorecard: Beautiful photos with lots of lovely scenery :coolsteer)

In the late 90's I used to work at a shipbuilding company in Barrow (not difficult to guess who) and did so for a bout 5 years. I lived in Manchester (still do) and travelled up each day. Great scenery.

Great pictures and car.

Sadly today I hardly ever visit.

What you building now Hugh?

Great photos. Great landscapes. Making me feel super cold here just looking at snow photos. How did the car handle in it? @miller1098

A tad more tourists. That said, no tourists = no money and jobs. A vicious circle. I must confess that the many times I've been through the heart of the Lake's (at all times of the year) I've been pretty lucky with traffic.

The Z is looking good Hugh.:snaphappy: Nice to know your getting out and about in it. Great time to go see family who not on the doorstep. The "M" didn't mind the traffic I'm sure.

Roy.:)

Car was great we were sideways a few times on our local roads as there’s a lot of farm traffic and too many donuts mean I’ll probably need new tyres soon

We also depend on tourism it’s one of the few business’s that are still holding up luckily. Really enjoyed our short visit but there seemed so many roads to explore lol
