You and Yvonne have our sympathy, that is the same sort of situation we found ourselves on Sunday and Monday . Lesley spent hrs on the phone both waiting and talking to the fraud people from our bank after we had been turned over .

Absolute purgatory mate :mad: Fortunately for us our case was different and just a block under the current global financial situation.
 
Looking forward to it. Couple of trial runs this Sunday up to Newby following Sunday North Yorkshire run with Yorkshire Z4 so car should have a good shake down. Any bolts that may work loose can do before we get to the Lakes this year.

Handbrake check is a must mate, doing a hill start on Hardknott Pass ain't pretty.

That is very true, nothing better than open top driving - I do have to come back to Manchester on the Saturday evening (and then return late to the hotel) so might get a chance to bring both

Leaders, I think we ought to check everybodies handbrakes by stopping just short of Hardknott Pass summit, what do you think:whistle:
