Lakefront Park in Downtown Kissimmee.

Fast running out of days we did something that has been on the to do list for a while now.
We visited the recently renovated Lakefront Park in downtown Kissimmee. Well worth the time we think. There's a few pictures of Anhingars (I think that's how it's spelled), they are diving bird related to our Cormorants. They like to rest and spread their wings to dry them after they've been in the water.

Up the street was this place,

We will be going back.
On the way back up the 192 we stopped here,

At the rear of this place is a "budget" Motel where we stayed back in the day when rooms were around $30 a night.
This will please our Abz.

Tomorrow we're planning more visits to Disney Resorts by bus, boat and Monorail.

Instead of touring various Disney Resorts today we decided to go over to the Atlantic coast at Melbourne. There are some great beaches all along the the coast there and really nice facilities and boardwalks. After checking out one part we went back into town to get a Starbucks coffee only to find the store had closed down.

It's hard to believe the colour of that ocean and people on the beach when Shirls car was covered in ice last night back home on the camera.

More Melbourne.
At the last part of the boardwalk we came across some very tame squirrels who had obviously got used to being fed, they followed us right to the end of the mangrove bush.

On the way over to Melbourne we spotted the massive Mecum car auction at the Silver Spurs Arena on the 192 and decided to take some pictures on the way back. I spotted a white Mustang on a trailer probably heading for the auction. There were a huge amount of vehicles under cover ready for sale.

Last lot.

Dark skies were looming soon after leaving Melbourne around 1.40, we could see them back in the west. Finally it came down and is the heaviest rain we've seen since we have been here. I know it's the "dry" season but usually you see more than we have and temps have been way above normal all the time we've been here.
