A most enjoyable few days with @Redline and @Gail at La Pad. See you on the Lakes Tour, safe trip back guys

A great few days despite the heat and humidity which sadly has been just to much to be out for much of the day. Highly recommended and very conveniently located for one of the major world tourist locations. A great friendly host you are too Andy. ***** on Trip Advisor.
Hope your forthcoming trip is a successful one

Thanks mate, a pleasure :)

@Andy McDonnell - you will be pleased to know London is as hot and stuffy as Paris.
Just the last leg now. A couple of hours late courtesy of Eurostar in Paris. Was utter chaos at Gare du Nor - 75 minutes from arriving to getting through immigration and security
Just missed our connection at Euston.
Great few days though

Apparently, this is what french fire fighters do. I suspect someone we know has been getting it all wrong

The bridge that had padlocks attached to it were cleared a short while ago. It seems that they have cropped up again at the end of the island where Notre Dame Cathedral is located.

Anyone looking for a great location for a different image of the Eiffel Tower - go along to the next bridge (under Passy Metro station) and you get a great frame for the tower. I took this photo and just a few hours later I saw an image in a TV advert taken from the very same spot.

Lots of weddings for far eastern couples were using the Paris skyline as a backdrop for their wedding photos.

And finally, our host himself....

Great shots mate though I'll reserve my judgement about the dodgey geezer in the last one
