Kidney grills painted

Due to the boredom of being stuck indoors because of the weather I painted the black kidney grill inserts silver. I had some paint left over from painting my spare pepper potts a few weeks ago. I think I like them. If not I will paint them black

I think I like them painted silver, I was thinking of buying a chrome set of eBay but I will stick with these for the time being. Luckily my left over wheel paint is a close match to rest of the car.

Damn, there's me just done the chrome bits black. Pictures may follow, if I can be ar5ed. Sure you can imagine a blue Z3 with black kidney grills and sharky bits on the no-longer ///M gills.

That should throw the ///M police off the scent.And I may clean the car at some point. Having just seen a weather forecast I may not bother just yet.

I had mine silver for a few years during the “chrome era” gone gloss black now and ditched the M gills.

Not out of step at all just more modern, in fact just like a 17 year old Z4 Grill

Depends on the colour of the car, some look good with chrome, some look good with black. Some might even look good with body-colour bits, but I'm not too sure about that. Having tried black, think I'm happy with the way it looks. Others may disagree. They'd be wrong, mind.
