Kent Village Mini-Cruise Sunday 8th September Pictures

We had a lovely mini-cruise and picnic today despite 2 short sharp heavy showers. Luckily those showers didn't occur during the cruise. It was good to meet some new Zedders and old friends too. We even had a Z1 on the cruise for the first time.

Yesterdays cruise was more for the social side of the get together, cruise was only about 40 miles. We did have mostly good weather.

The airfield was at Headcorn, lots of space to park on grass. Always lots going on of a weekend, planes landing and taking off every few minutes. Yesterday they had a plane race and the planes turned right over our Zeds, the other Zedders were saying my Dakar was the marker for the planes to make there turn.

I know what you mean about Kent being too far away, the same for us as we would like to be nearer your EAC cruises.

My sister lives in Broadstairs - that would not have been too far. Perhaps we'll meet someday....
