Same thing happened to a guy at work not long back but as his car is a complete pile of s**** he opted to buy a piece of black canvas and stick it on. Looks terrible but matches the rest of his car! The bastards want there fingers chopping off like they do in Dubai. They'd think twice about thieving folks belongings then! Makes me proper grumpy! . See!

Needs more than a rear screen. A replacement roof is required through the insurance company

I don't think so!

Depends if you want to pay for it or not, over here my car was 'all risk' (fully comp) and the insurance paid out last year (Oct 1996) you do have to make sure that your insurance covers soft tops though.
