Hi
not car related
I use Kaspersky protection on my PC
its only had 6 months of license use
Today it has thrown up a license issue, :bashhead: so now no protection
sent the support a message
Has this happened to any kaspersky users out there

Never used Kaspersky before, so not sure I can help much, but I would say its unlikely that you are not protected, it probably just won't update to the latest virus definitions. Means that it will protect you, just not for any new viruses since the last valid definition update.

What version of Kaspersky is it, and I will have a quick Google for you. If you can put the error message on this thread as well it would be useful.

Hi Gary definitely no protection windows are asking to activate its firewall, have done

Seriously guys, get away from the commercial stuff and use Avast, it is free and does not hog your windows resources like Kaspersky or Mcoffee. Alternatively get an iMac........ I've never had an issue or blue screen of death in 3 years of ownership of an iMac.......

Hi
Kaspersky got back, there reply
There are problems running windows 7 with IE 10
"Uninstall IE 10"
Which I have done its now working
This is the first time I have had problems with Kaspersky pure in 4 years of using it
I was initial advise by several IT people, kaspersky was the way to go
I understand the market does change but I'm happy to stay with it
Especially after the support s team quick response in resolving the issue

Another good free one is Comodo Internet Security. Combined firewall and antivirus.

That's good news they came back quickly Ray :)

Having Googled Kaspersky and Internet Explorer 10, there seems to be quite a few issues with the two together. Looks like a bug fix is being worked on to make Kaspersky fully compatible with IE, which it clearly is not at the moment
