Was it a special night for Hedgehogs last night? On a 36 mile round trip to pick the grandson this morning I counted 5 of them added to the road surface.

That’s a real shame, they’re getting rare and endangered. It’s ages since I saw a dead one, (you used to see loads) and at least 15 yrs since I saw a live one. By coincidence I think I saw 2 flattened ones this morning between Shrewsbury & Abergavenny (might have been squashed pheasants-not a lot left)Was it a special night for Hedgehogs last night?
