A reason I like watching HBO series, such as Deadwood, and Boardwalk Empire etc, there's a lot of factual history in their programmes.

TV is such pooh that we are being forced to subscription viewing anything half decent nowadays...the bbc licence fee argument will be interesting to see how it plays out, in this context.
