Got a surprise early finish at work today and as the sun was shining Sara suggested we went for a tootle out in Bob :). Which was another surprise as she hasn't been able to get in and out of a car easily after her little op a few weeks ago.
So roof down and off to Bakewell as she wanted to look in a few shops there......after that we headed off to Monyash to escape the traffic as it was 5pm by then......

Thought I'd jump out and take a few pics in the sun too.....

Then on the way home it dropped a bit chilly so I donned my anti chill scarf........

As title a real tonic for both of us,1st time Sara's been in Bob for a few months and I've just done 2 days solid of exams to keep my qualifications for gas installation, which was rather full on and stressful, thank god I only have to them every 5 years :).

Cheers mate, exams are not my strong point and I'm relieved it's done now, tried reading up on things but just can't seem to remember owt .
They test you on things you would never come across in your day to day work but expect that you should know it all, impossible in my opinion but hey ho all done now......sighs in relief :).

I can sympathise Steve, when the "new" M.O.T. scheme came in last year the DVSA said the training would be reviewed and as I'm "the man" at our branch I was surprised to see they're now introducing DIY training which east NT has to organise for themselves. Not HP so talks are planned.

That's not fair on you when you're not self employed,it should be up to your gaffer to sort it.
Hope the outcome is in your favour from the negotiations mate.

Ah enjoyed many a jaunt that way over Chelmorton Moor, past Magpie Mine when I worked at Buxton. I used to pull up and watch the sun come up. One day it was like summer, next like the black hole of Calcutta such was the change in weather up Buxton way. A 100 mile daily drive for me getting to college around 8 a.m , best drive to work ever.

stupid "blinking" touchscreen tablet! does all sorts of things as I'm scrolling!

found it and undone! sorry!

Great photos :p
Glad you enjoyed your day thanks for sharing ;)

Great to see you both have got out in Bob , a great way to destress after the exams.... Hope all goes well with them

We've been off all week and I promised ourselves a day up in Derbyshire in Reggie. All he's done is gone up and down the motorway looking at crocks of s***! :banghead:. Maybe next year eh!:(

Well you still have the weekend
At least you're all sorted with a nice replacement car now so Reggie can go back to being pampered

I can't see anything happening this weekend mate to be honest. Really busy at the minute. Only 3 weeks to Derbyshire cruise now tho. Can't wait for that.
