Hi Paul, rare is always a worrying salesman word. It's either "nobody wants it" or "we didn't order enough paint!" Personally I love it.Welcome Lee, From another 2.5 Sterling grey owner (When i bought they said they were rare)
Hi, is it ok to replace in sections or should they be completely renewed?Hi and welcome from Surrey, I can't recommend a garage but corroded brake pipes are usually a fairly localised problem. Any competant mechanic with the tooling should be able to make up and fit replacement sections. I would shop around the smaller garages and find one who can do it.![]()
Its very popular. Like you, love the colour, easy clean and suits car, Can't quite get the shine i get on my Z3 in Montreal blue though.Hi Paul, rare is always a worrying salesman word. It's either "nobody wants it" or "we didn't order enough paint!" Personally I love it.
Yes it is common practice to only replace the damaged section.Hi, is it ok to replace in sections or should they be completely renewed?
Hi & Welcome, not long had mine replaced front to back, If I remember correctly it was £280 including partsHi Mazza, not a problem, the local garage quoted £400 plus vat which I thought was a bit steep so I'm shopping around.
Be careful, the worst part of mine was the area above the fuel tank which you cant see, I was able to snap it like a twig, pretty scary, I would advise replacing the whole section especially if there are parts you cant visually inspect.Hi, is it ok to replace in sections or should they be completely renewed?
No, they definitely had enough Sterling Grey Lee, they used it on mine too . . . . . . . .Hi Paul, rare is always a worrying salesman word. It's either "nobody wants it" or "we didn't order enough paint!" Personally I love it.
