Yesterday I did a run with the local BMW club from Christchurch to Akaroa on a fantastically clear winters day. 43km of twisty windy roads, up hill and down dale with a few 100 kmh straights in the middle and 20 BMWs. Would have loved to had some of your camera trickery on the trip to show people. The camera must be mounted on the end of the radio aerial?

First of all, Christchurch! South Island... wow... when my channel gets huge can I do a South Island series with your red Zed? Shipping mine might take a while.

Sounds like a lovely trip. One thing I'm slowly realizing is the camera really flattens out everything, even the twists in the road. I use a (I hate this term) selfie stick, wedged behind the driver seat, to hold the camera. A little higher and the angles to the distance get much better.
 
Yes, when this Covid thing is over and we have open boarders again, you are welcome to pick a Z3 and tour the South Island.
