Welcome from a fellow Z4 owner. First thing i would check is has the roof motor been relocated to the boot as the Z4s are prone to water damage if left in the original position

Hi, Thank you for the info and they have already taken the roof motor out as it was full of water due to that silly design where the motor sits. Plan on placing the new one in the boot so it does not get wet anymore.

Do you know anyone who sells the roof motor, only problem my car is in Spain so would need to fly the part out there to be fixed.
