Recently bought a 1997 Z3. Japanese import. Only 42,000 th kilometers. Not surprised to find the rocking passenger seat. Just replaced the bushings and the seat works great. Now I have a bloody airbag light on the dash. Drove the car without the seat, so looks like my own fault. Putting in an NRG wheel with quick release in a few weeks, so will be putting the resistors in because of the lack of steering wheel airbag. Do you think the reset tool will do the trick after the new steering wheel is in?

Hello Steve welcome to the forum. They sometimes reset on their own but if they haven't after a few rides out you'll need to get the codes reset with a scanner.

G'day Steve, and welcome to the gang from Oz. I'm rather new here too and it's a great place. I think it's a B800 you may need to reset your airbag light. That's the one I used on my 1.9 Zed3. It will tell you were the fault is and once you have fixed the fault it will reset the airbag light.

Hi @Steve Hooper, to the forum from me too in Staffordshire, UK. I would think that if the resistors are doing their job correctly of simulating the airbag, a reset tool would not know the difference. Good luck
