I'm a bit torn mate as its a cracking car with outstanding MOT history, its been well looked afterInterested to see what you do with it.
Can be done without moving the battery box - the M has massive backboxes hence the battery box is relocated.I would love quads but the battery box needs moving
I have a local place that I can take it to and see what they say, getting all excited nowCan be done without moving the battery box - the M has massive backboxes hence the battery box is relocated.
I’ve seen it done without moving the battery box- I’m pretty sure it like that on @Steve Medlock MK1 2.8.
I can confirm it sounds tasty, like it’s in stereo when you inside it!
Will look good on your 2.8
It is the same colour pal, Atlanta blueI’ve never seen a facelift in this colour - it looks like the Bond blue that was on the MK1 models.
It's a relatively rare colour on a facelift. It is the same colour pal, Atlanta blue
Yes, my pre-facelift 2.8 has a quad system. The spare wheel had to go but the battery box doesn't interfere with it.Can be done without moving the battery box - the M has massive backboxes hence the battery box is relocated.

Thats good to know, do both sets of rear pipes come out of one boxYes, my pre-facelift 2.8 has a quad system. The spare wheel had to go but the battery box doesn't interfere with it.
The jury is still out, its more profitable to break itFix it up it would be a shame to have to break it if it's running well, the 2.2s sound great too. I have a mate with a quad exhaust but no back boxes you can do that if you feeling brave
Need to send them over here to sell. Lets just say we could have a very very profitable business. not are not cheap hereNeeded anther project and this came up. This pic is from when I advertised it last year on the forum, a mate ended up buying it. he has done 2k in it and it has been stored in a barn all winter, he messaged me and said give us a grand and you can take it as I need the room, its in need of an MOT (runs out at the end of the month) and a bit of paintwork, virtually rust free but I will be removing the sills and treating the inners, also has black sport seats, blue roof and split rims that are in great nick, plus 4 good tyres.
Worse bits, needs a front bumper as its cracked and a bit lumpy on idle and seems to lack power, gos well enough but seems flat compared to my 2.8, I found a split in a vacuum hose so hopefully that will sort it, I'll put the reader on it next week, 111k miles
Oh, I paid a lot less then a grand for it.
It will be up for sale when its done
