I agree mate, in reality it needs 2 grands worth of paint, but obviously will only cost me a couple of hundred quid in materials, how much would it reflect on the price if the bodywork was mint

Don’t feel bad about breaking it - good cars help other better cars stay on the road - my car has parts from 4 or more cars on it by know, I’ve lost track!
And you can then have a facelift centre console in it - that part I really like from the facelift.

I know what you mean pal, my 2.8 has parts from a number of cars, inners sills from a 1.9, thanks to Andy, rear wings from different cars, front wings from another, one sill from another car, seats from an M, plus a few other bits
I hope you keep it @Sean d . It looks a really nice car or if not to keep, im sure someone else would love it r. Getting it in lovely shape and move it onto someone that's going to enjoy it. I guess as every car gets parted, our own zs become a little more valuable and new goodies are always nice. It's a quandary.
I don't know if I could take apart such a nice car.
