Would anyone be up for a canal/river cruise on the Lee, from Broxbourne Herts for 2 or 3 hours dependant on package.Trips vary from cream tea to Sunday lunch or a private hirecif there is enough interest, the boat takes around 30 to 40 people.Im thinking late September pos a Sunday lunch trip, 3 hours on the boat. Any takers ?

Great idea but sadly Dave aka Mint doesn't do boats of any description having had an awful experience some years ago on a ferry from France and again on a Ffiord in NZ, which are supposed to be smooth and calm but it wasn't.

I know he feeling but be assured the canals of Hertfordshire are nothing like the wilds of New Zealand or English Channel.
They barges are sonslow and and close to the bank you can walk alongside faster!

I'll get some details from the boat company, I was thinking Sunday 24th Sept or Sunday 8th Oct but open to follow the crowd, October down south has been great the last couple of years.
A 3 hour Sunday lunch trip @ £27.50 per head starting at 12.00 at the boat yard.
