Write Up Just a meet for a natter and a drink - Sept 13th 2015

Thanks Tony and Shirley for arranging we had a great day and met friends as always old and new. Lovely surprise to see Frankie again just shows the effect this forum has on folks if they are willing to travel thousands of miles just to meet and chat.
Here here Brian, couldn't have put it better myself!

Thank you Tony and Shirl for what turned out to be a great meet up, the venue was well chosen and the steak pie everything you said it would be, all Zs were immaculately turned out and we even got some waves from the locals when on the run to Torsky Lock, star of the event was obviously Frankie and I had the pleasure of his company next to me at dinner, what a lovely gent as has been said and one hell of a conversationist, thanks @FRANKIE for a most enjoyable conversation at dinner, someone not forgotten in a hurry. Hope you enjoyed yourself, I certainly enjoyed your company at dinner.
Got home ok with the damaged front N/S wheel holding up quite well at 60-65mph (just half of my normal speed though =))), but took over 2.5hrs, didn't ruin my day though I'm just a bit annoyed at my lack of concentration. Rha, Roy.
I'm sorry at what happened Roy, such a shame as your car is always immaculately turned out. Metal is repairable, people arnt always so lucky. It can be fixed mate.
