I meant to ask you something. I never did anything with the clutch on the 1.9. I had the car parked on the side of the house. I wanted it in the driveway while I was on vacation. I started up the car in neutral and let it run until the rpm was a normal warmed up range. I then shut the car off and put it into 1st gear, started it up and drove it into the driveway and shut it down immediately, or I'd hit the ////M. The clutch pedal didn't seem to be pressing against the pressure plate. I feel that it's a problem with the (I'm assuming it's a) master/slave cylinder. Are these easy to repair/change? I haven't looked at the Bently Manual yet for doing this. I did read that it uses the same fluid from the brake master cylinder which is full. Frankie
 
The Steak and Ale pie sounded so good that I wouldn't mind going there the next time I'm over there. Perhaps we can make it the three of us, with wives. I'll put it on the bucket list. Frankie
