At carfest today and went over to the police stand showing horrific pictures and an actual family car that was hit by a drunk driver

While walking round I saw this picture and asked the policeman what's the story on the Z3///M
He didn't go into to much detail but they lost control hit a tree and the car snapped in two :nailbiting:
So when out in your zed just think!!!
Its not worth the risk driving to fast

Agree - plus watch other drivers and be aware! Stay safe Zedders!

Some force to do that look where the engine is and it didn't look promising to the rest that you can see poor sods.
Seen too much of that in my lifetime thanks. Used to help my father-in-law recover vehicles from RTA's, Even had to drag an Alfa out of the Trent with a DOA drug dealer inside once.

Tony.

I would of been in tears :p
Not nice :(

Yep horrendous, trees win every time unfortunately. We are all guilty of letting go from time to time. We had terrible news last year with a fellow forum member, I'd hate to hear of another.

If I could share what my eyes have seen (and will continue to see) it would be horrific. But for all the blood, guts and gore....it doesn't compare to how bad it is to look someone in the eye and tell them they've lost a son/daughter/sister/brother/parent. My worst was telling two boys, 11 and 13 years old that their dad was gone in a motorcycle crash having been 1st on the scene and picking up the pieces.....at 9pm the day before Father's Day. I'll take that experience to the grave. :(

I know anyone can have an accident but that Zed must have been traveling at speed.
These cars are the best part of 20 Years old well at least mine is I think it has to be treated as such after all it's a classic car with technology to match.
Although not miss daisy I do drive my Zed with some respect it's not really a car for ragging in my opinion.

This is a nightmare scene and I personally worry each and every time there is a run. In particular the ones where there is a fast group I'm hoping no one ends up in this situation! Drive safely and carefully and as @DavidM said watch out for other drivers, you never know what's on their minds!! JIM
