.... to get the roof down
-7.5°C when I set off from Barnack, Stamford this morning. Took a while to heat up the back window to get the roof down though
266 miles, most of which was glorious sun. Only dodgey bit was going past Ollerton (I blame @Grumps), very misty! The roads were perfect all the way home
Science bit: my phone had a fit and lost the sync to my sterio, turns out it was cold and came back to life when I put it in my pocket
800 miles of mostly BMW Lane driving to St Nicholas at Wade, Kent, and back via Barnack to pick up the Old Man, splendid

Took the Old Man down to see his place of birth before he shuffles Off, not been back since September 1939. His mum was shipped out to the Emergency Maternity House, as were many, during the War. Now a couple of private houses so sadly unable to look inside, he's a happy man though.
