took the 1.9 in for its annual mot inspection.. all good, I had a good look underneath while it was in the air, and other than some surface rust on one of the trailing arms nothing really to speak about its all solid under there and my m.o.t. man said it all looks good.. nothing to even advise on.. so all the hard work definitely pays off to get a clean m.o.t. with no advisories...

was expecting to find some rust and corrosion but as its always garaged and cleaned regularly suppose that helps... emissions were all good too... after my itailian tune up....!!!!!

Good news Al . When you doing the 2.8?

Tony.

thats another story for the moment Tony.. i want to get the sills painted and some other small bits sorted it all runs great, just needs some fettling i was hoping to get it done sooner but once the weather picks up i be firing on all 10 cylinders.. thats 4 for the 1.9 and 6 for the 2.8....

at least my baby 1.9 is sorted and tucked up nice and warm back in its garage...

I want to get the ews out later on the 2.8 to try on my key programmer or i may just try it on a second hand ews.. as i have only got one key for the 2.8 and could do with some spares.. and i also got a transponder issue with one of the keys on the 1.9... so bit more reading and research and both cars will have spares keys too... yay

Well, as Shirl keeps reminding me, it all doesn't need doing today. These cars need driving as well as fettling so enjoy it mate.

Tony.
