Saw this on another site. I love Susie’s comment.

It's just the badge she probably doesn't even know what a zed 3 is bar it's a convertible and it must be a bmw as it has the badge :whistle:

Susie probably drives a little hatchback that's worth double or triple the price of that Z3.

It amazes me when people ask me how much it cost to buy mine, someone said a couple of months ago they are around 40K aren't they? When I said yes mate I paid just over £1100 for it you should have seen his face drop, 'my old Audi A3 cost more than that and it's falling to bits' he replied!. The amount of people who say how did you afford to buy that, I love telling them its 20 years old and cost me just over a grand :D Nothing makes me laugh more driving around in my 'posh' car 'flashing my cash' when I get asked what it cost, not so flash anymore Sir!

I was in a fuel station in my old Z and a guy asked if the car was brand new model of BMW, he was taken aback when I told him it was almost 20 year old:D
We get a few customers in the shop and a few show interest in the current project, I love telling them it only cost me £700

Tbh, most coppers don't know their arse form their elbow :p

My cars are priceless, in that I own them and have no intention to sell.

Like any profession there's some good and some not so good.

And, as always the best are sadly dragged to the level of the worst. Most of the time bad interaction is caused by a crap attitude on BOTH sides. There was a Traffic Cop in our area back in the late 70's/80's called Tony Beardley and this guy had a chip on his shoulder the size of a cow. A more obnoxious person I have never met in my life but that doesn't make me dislike all Policemen. He was just an ARSE.

Tony.

Probably being in the same class with Porsche, looking so good :)(especially if the Zed received some TLC), the people perception is as a rich man car! :DNobody expect is a 20+ years old...;)
So we have to live with that...=))

The one in Lowestoft in the 80s was Lockwood. If you rode a bike, he'd given you a ticket, no exceptions.
