Today whilst out in the Z3M at the local petrol station a guy approached me and commented on the USA flag graphic I have on the NSF wing of the car. First off he wanted to know where I got it from and the secondly said that I didn't sound American.

I informed him I wasn't from the USA. He then asked why the graphic? to which I said is was the fact the cars are built in the USA. He had a puzzled look and said no they are built in Germany. So I educated him.

Still looking puzzled he walked away and got in his car.

Guess what he got into?????

A Z4 Roadster.

Made my day.
 
I get the same reaction when I tell people that the car was manufactured in the good old US of A.
Then I tell them the name of the place that it was produced.....Spartanburg........then they walk away, looking at me, thinking, total nutter, love it........... :ymdevil:
