I was given this pen 26 years ago by the people from Make-a-Wish Foundation when we held a fund raising event to replace their funds from sending our family to Disney World for Carla's wish. We lost Carla that same year and tonight my favourite yellow pen stopped working.

It is the simple things that maintain memories. Its like all I really wanted of my dads stuff is his modelling board and one of his old control line planes that I’ll hang up. I will never match his wood working skills. Going to be painful sorting his stuff out for my mom.

Try and find a refill for it Tony, it's still the same pen. Use it to write something that reminds you of what it means.

I get refills for some of the pens we’ve collected over the years from trips away via good old eBay, cheap as chips.
Usually buy them x10 as they don’t last as long as originals but it keeps the pens useable which in your case is very important to you.
