It is with huge sorrow.....

So sorry to hear of Tony's passing many a chat with him over the years condolences to all of the family from a fellow zedsheder.

Very sad to see this; condolences to his family and the wider community.

Shocked and saddened to hear this.
I know Tony was a stalwart of the forum for many years and gave his time and knowledge to others generously.

RIP young man.

Stopping by for the first time in a long time, as I just heard the news from my Mum (who is fb friends with Shirl following our stay at Wishes).

My deepest sympathies to Shirl and the rest of the family, and to the many here that have been friends with Tony over the years x

Such shocking and sad news. Tony was one of life's genuinely nice guys. Nothing was too much trouble. Thoughts and prayers go to Shirl and family.

RIP Tony, you will be greatly missed 😢

Such a sad day, I first met Tony a few years ago at Zfest, when he was showing me around his Z4. We went on the Torskey lock cruise a couple years ago that he and Shirl organised. Tony showed me around his workshop when we finished the tour. A really nice bloke, our condolences to all the family.

Absolutely devastated, is an understatement for me. Just coming to terms as reading the thread. Have known Tony and Shirl a good number of years probal;by around 11 or 12. always a warm welcome and brew when I turned up. So many memories with them - Tony is probably one of the reasons I'm about on here tbh.

Condolences to Shirl, Garry, Abby and the grand kids

Tony that guy 1 in a million.

Deeply saddened by the news. Tony will be sorely missed by all on this forum.
Condolences to Shirl and all the family.
RIP Tony

Gutted to hear this Tony was a fantastic bloke. Met him and Shirl on several occasions and they were very generous with their time and help. He will be sadly missed. Our thoughts are with Shirl and the family.
Ride on my friend

I was so sorry to hear this news, I knew Tony and Shirl and remember fondly the cruises he organised once a year at Torksey lock. He will be terribly missed on this forum, not only for his banter but his knowledge of cars and his willingness to help fellow Zed owners who needed it. We may never see his like again on this site, God bless him.

On your doorstep too mate. I'm truely gutted, when Shirl got in touch yesterday I just broke down. Still can't believe it 😢

Terrible news to me this morning from Shirley. Still in shock that someone so clearly loved by the Z community has passed away. I regarded Tony as a real friend and will miss all the banter he so profusely aimed my way when ever the chance was there. Rest in peace good buddy in “ The Good peoples workshop in the sky.”
Z shed midlands is/was a total success thanks to this lovable helpful skilled mechanic and friend.
Heart goes out to Tony’s family. Condolences.

❤️ Thanks for all the lovely messages, clearly he was a well loved guy and highly thought of. Still struggling to let it sink in if I'm honest 😢
