It is with huge sorrow.....

Even though I haven't been on this forum long, I was of course influenced by Tony's wisdom, as he replied to many of my slightly daft questions.

I am deeply saddened to lose such a valuable member of this community, I am sure many of you share the same feeling

He will not be forgotten, his wisdom will still continue to course through the older threads on here, and the guidance he gave will continue to support others.

Please pass our condolences to Shirl and family. Had some great times in the garage and both Tony and Shirl would greet us whenever we met up.
The trips out you arranged were always looked forward to and loads of happy memories.

He will be missed but never forgotten

Brian and Sheila

I am sooo shocked to hear this news Tony was such a lovely social and knowledge chap that was more than happy to help everyone and anyone he met
Goodnight @t-tony you will be greatly missed by all x

Such sad news. Tony has been very helpful over the years always ready to share his knowledge and experience with anyone in need. Always welcoming and encouraging to new members. He will be greatly missed. Very sad.

I'm sorry to hear this, I never met Tony, but like so many here, over the last decade I have benefitted from his knowledge, experience and top gen.
Definitely one of the good guys.

I was shocked to hear from a PM from @hard top that Tony had passed away. I had often spoken to him via Skype but hadn't talked to him lately as I had some medical problems. I had gone down to Florida twice to visit him while he was in the USA. And I spent time with him during my 2 visits to the UK and the forum. I have read some of the posts from other members. Many of the members never had the chance to meet @t-tony and didn't have the pleasure of getting to know him personally. For their sake and for the rest of the forum I'll post here the last videos I took of Tony when I last saw him in Florida. For those of you who never met him, it will give you the chance to see what a wonderful, friendly person he was.......RIP Tony.....Frankie.

And several years earlier with my first Z3...

Also stunned and moved by this unbelievably sad news. I never had the pleasure of meeting or speaking with Tony. One of the nicest and supportive members of this community. I will never forget how positive he was with us rebody fans. Always a good and sage word.

My thoughts are with his family and friends. They have a top notch bloke upstairs now.

Only just picked up on this very sad news. 😥
Like many others on here, I never met him in the `flesh' but over the years have exchanged many messages, both on open forum and privately. Always very helpful, offered great advice and a great sense of humour.
Sincere condolences to Shirl and family.

We are so sorry to hear this sad news. As many others have said we never met Tony face to face but because of his presence on the forum felt that we knew him. He was always so generous with advice & wisdom whenever it was needed & will be sadly missed. Our thoughts & prayers are with Shirl & their family.

RIP Tony. The place wont be the same without you.

@FRANKIE . That's lovely, I'm sure they will upset some as it has me. Hope you're staying well over there mate 👍🏼

Really nice videos @FRANKIE , thanks for sharing. RIP Tony

Have just come across this awful news of Tony’s passing. Did not have the pleasure of meeting him in person but benefited greatly from his wisdom, knowledge and love of the cars we all enjoy. His input and humour shared on this forum is irreplaceable and will be greatly missed. One of life’s gentlemen. Our thoughts and condolences to Shirl and the family.

I did have the pleasure of getting to know Tony and Shirls and spent many hours at Zedshed fiddling, meddling, drinking tea and learning how to do routine repairs on my Z3. The camaraderie of the Zedsheds was always something I looked forwards to and this was something that Tony cared about. Tony’s patience over the 5 years was pivotal in maintaining my enthusiasm for Zedding and I couldn’t have asked for a more patient person to help me with projects and give advice. My thoughts are with Shirls and the family at this difficult time and I can only count myself as incredibly fortunate to have met and interacted with Tony. RIP Tony, you are already sadly missed by all those who knew you.
