£50 mark
I bought a replacement battery from sBay three years ago,it was absolutely no use.after contacts with seller ( a company offering a lot of computer equipment parts). I got a refund , offered to return the battery but he did not want it said they are not worth the bother.More brain trawling here guys. I have been told by a man I trust that to by a non-genuine laptop battery could be a waste of money, particularly with an HP item because the computer is likely to not recognise the battery and fail to charge it?
Can any of you IT Gurus please tell me if this is likely to be correct. I can buy "many" aftermarket batteries for £10- £15 whereas a genuine one is nearer to the £50 mark. Thank you.
Tony.
Not wanting to sound alarmist mate but that's got fire hazard written all over it. You get what you pay for mate, in my experience these types of cheap electrical goods are knocked up by a 5th party contractor in his shed in China by a guy that's got an 'O' Level in Woodwork. Some things are cheap for a reason mate.More brain trawling here guys.
