@t-tony sometimes you have to go that extra mile.. ok 700 plus to get what you want. Hexham was a long way but she's a great car. Needs a bit of tlc, but the smiles on faces said it all.

As for the name... 'Awwwww feck... off'
=))

Well done, a bit of travel for a good one is worth it.

Don't think I've bought a car any closer than 3hrs away. For the Z I went from Kent to Edinburgh and back!

This multi Z ownership thing is getting out of hand on here!

Ha, ha, lots of smiles to come mate. Enjoy!

The 3.0 just wants to run... and sounds great too.

Congrats Paul. The 3.0 is the next best thing to an M. They just love the twisties

niece one mate looks great:drinks:

I can lay the blame for this at @Lee once I tasted the extra torque the 3.0 z4 had... I got bitten... had to have and started the hunt. 3.0 Z3's with a manual box and reasonable price as very hard to find. This little lady with a good specification needs a bit of tlc. Parts have started to be ordered and zed shed booked.

Let the games commence.

Fantastic! May we have a full down of your plans for her at the zed shed.... What have you ordered? I'm hoping the shed lads will work on mine come new year.

@Uncle_Clanger the 3.0 Z3 is staying standard apart from brembo brake discs and pads. Just the normal things for an 80k car. Water pump, thermostat, checking shocks, springs and bushes. She needs a bit of tlc as the car has been garaged for a while with lower than average miles.

Yep, makes perfect sense. Exactly what's on my list...really looking forward to the write up. Are you in Winchester? You're very close to the shed lads aren't you?

I put Brembo drilled and grooved Discs and Brembo pads on our 3.0 Z3 when we had it and they lasted 12 months

Has it got a strutt brace. Would fully recommend getting one for the 3.0 tightens the front end up

Mine too mate, I love it.:)
