Yesterday morning we got up early to leave for Disney Springs before 8.30. As I went back into the bathroom I realised we had no water supply, so I shouted to Shirl "What's happened to the water?" She went out the front door where a very sheepish looking gardener had climbed of his Go Kart grass cutter and was approaching our door. This is what the idiot had done.

We were out all afternoon as luck would have it and when we got home around 5.00 it still hadn't been repaired. There was a note and card from the grass cutting company explaining that a plumber was booked to come. To
I say I wasn't best pleased would be an understatement in the extreme, But I rang this guy who assured me the plumber was still going to call and repair the pipe and as he wouldn't need access inside the house we were free to go out for dinner with some mates. We got in at 11.30 to see this,

How long does it take to fill up the swimming pool?

After @David has been in it....
Don't know mate, but I had visions of emptying it by the bucket full to flush toilets yesterday:thumbsup:

Tony.

At least your got water now Tony :p
Perhaps you could put a box round it to stop this happening again :)

If that is the main incomer to the property it looks real amateur. Very least it needs some protection, as Shelley says.

That is just how it is over there Ian. They do many things very different from us.

Tony.

Yep, but their Polaks come from Mexico, Puerto Rico and such places Mike.;)

Believe it or not, some houses in the UK have plastic solvent weld hot and cold service pipework.
Seems to serve the purpose well enough, although I wouldn't like to use it.
