That is outrageous. How do they know they are not giving your info to scammers and people looking to steal cars?

I don't remember authorising the DVLA to sell my details! Disgraceful

Agree very much Andy.
It is becoming impossible to visit any retail park without being confronted by these cameras.
Also, once in possession of your details what’s to stop these organisations from selling them on. How they can argue you have entered into some form of contract simply by entering their property when you can only read the terms after you have entered is beyond me.
I was presented by such a fine after visiting ikea in a long wheelbase van. An email directly to their CEO threatening to return nearly £1000 of furniture got me a credit from them to pay the charge.

I got a ticket in Bournmouth a few years ago for overstaying my welcome at a supermarket, just binned it and never heard anything back.

I've been done, staying too long in a McDonald's car park. Very expensive coffee:(

It’s counterproductive for the stores on these sites. Loss of business doesn’t help them. Yet, they allow their landlords to employ these bottom feeders.

Private parking companies less prolific in Scotland due to different laws you can't just stick a sign in a corner of a bit of ground and clamp cars that park there
Pretty certain only police and council can clamp your car up here
